Arc raiders lure grenade blueprint quest
In the tactical, high-stakes extraction loops of ARC Raiders, brute force will only get you so far. When you are cornered by a squad of relentless drones or trying to slip away with a backpack full of high-tier loot, manipulating ARC aggression is a literal lifesaver. That is exactly where the Lure Grenade comes into play. It is a sticky utility item that emits a loud acoustic frequency, redirecting machine aggro for roughly 15 seconds. It lets you force drones to attack each other, distract heavy patrols, or throw off enemy players during chaotic extractions.
To permanently unlock this tool, you need its blueprint, which is tied to a multi-map trader quest given by Celeste. Here is a practical, step-by-step breakdown of how to get the blueprint, execute the quest safely, and actually craft the item.
The Core Quest: "Greasing Her Palms"
Celeste offers this quest relatively early in your progression. The narrative hook is simple: she wants to butter up the local weapon dealer girl, and she needs you to handle the legwork. Completing this multi-stage mission rewards you with the Lure Grenade Blueprint, 1x Speaker Component, and 1x Electrical Component.
To finish the quest, you must visit three specific locations across three entirely different maps.
Step 1: The Locked Room (Dam Battlegrounds)
When you accept the quest, Celeste hands you a unique quest item: the Dam Surveillance Key.

Critical Safety Note: Before you matchmake into a raid, open your inventory and move the Dam Surveillance Key directly into your Safe Pocket. If you leave it in your standard backpack and get eliminated by a drone or a rival squad, you will lose the key. If you lose it, you are forced to grind and scavenge high-value containers on Dam Battlegrounds just to find a replacement.

Once you drop into Dam Battlegrounds, head directly to the Water Treatment Control Building on the southern side of the complex.
  • Clear out any immediate ARC drones patrolling the exterior.
  • Enter the building, immediately take your first right, and then double back to the right again down a short hallway.
  • You will face a locked door. Use the Dam Surveillance Key to swipe inside. The moment you cross the threshold, the first leg of the quest triggers as complete.
  • Bonus: Don't just run out. This room spawns a decent spread of high-quality electronics and loose materials, so clean out the shelves before mapping your exit.
Step 2: The Rocket Thrusters (Spaceport)
Next, select the Spaceport map. This step does not require any physical keys, but it places you out in the open, making a budget loadout highly recommended for defense.
  • Navigate toward the central sector of the map, specifically just south of the massive Rocket Assembly building (sandwiched between the Assembly hall and Control Tower A6).
  • On the ground, you will see massive, metallic rocket components scattered about. Locate the southwestern-most thruster cone resting on its side.
  • Walk directly behind the open end of the thruster and stand completely still for 3 to 5 seconds. There is no interact prompt; the game simply requires your character model to occupy that exact coordinate to update your HUD notification.
Step 3: The Barricaded Area (Buried City)
The final leg takes you to the ruins of the Buried City. You need to locate the Space Travel Building, which sits right next to the Research facility on the eastern side of the map.
  • Getting inside can be tricky due to localized automated turrets and patrolling Fireball drones. The cleanest entry point is hitting the eastern rooftop and using the interior ziplines down the elevator shafts, or navigating the western exterior stairwells.
  • Make your way to Floor 6 (keep an eye on the painted floor numbers on the concrete walls).
  • Search the main hallway until you spot a door reinforced with wooden planks and barricades. Walk up and execute a physical breach to break through.
  • Step into the room to trigger the final objective notification.
Once all three locations are checked off, locate the nearest extraction point, call in your extraction, and get out alive. Back in the safety of Speranza, talk to Celeste to claim your blueprint.
Crafting the Lure Grenade (Avoid the Workbench Trap)
A massive point of confusion in the community happens right after players extract with the blueprint. Naturally, players open up their Explosives or Grenade Workbench, only to find the recipe completely missing.
The Lure Grenade is technically classified as a gadget rather than a pure explosive weapon. Because of this, you must interact with your Utility Station (Level 2) to find the recipe.
The economy for crafting these is incredibly forgiving, making it a highly sustainable tool for solo players or budget runs:
Material RequiredQuantityPurpose / Utility
Lure Grenade Blueprint1Permanent Account Unlock (Consumed on first read)
Electrical Components1Standard electronics salvage found in office zones
Speaker Component1Acoustic hardware found in radios and media containers
A single craft outputs a stack of 3 Lure Grenades, weighing a total of just 0.4 kg in your inventory. This allows you to easily pocket a few sets without sacrificing precious weight capacity for your extraction haul.
Alternate Methods: Trading & Market Options
Because ARC Raiders relies on a physical extraction mechanic, blueprints remain tangible inventory items until they are officially brought back to Speranza and learned at your workshop. If your squad gets wiped on your way to an extraction point while carrying the blueprint, or if you encounter a progression bug with Celeste’s trader UI, you aren't completely locked out.
Rarely, the blueprint drops natively in the wild from Electrical Containers or high-tier crates around Marano Station during specific map weather modifiers (like the Husk Graveyard variant). However, relying on a sub-5% random drop rate in a high-risk PvPvE zone is an incredibly frustrating grind.
Because of this, a robust player-driven economy has formed around item distribution. Since items can be dropped and shared freely inside a live raid, players routinely trade extra blueprints or buy pre-farmed crafting packages. If you want to skip the multi-map travel requirements entirely, you can easily find third-party platforms like U4N, which frequently feature verified player listings for arc raiders legendary blueprints for sale alongside hard-to-find utility components. A veteran player simply squads up with you, loads into a low-threat drop, and hands the physical blueprint directly to your character so you can drop it straight into your Safe Pocket and extract immediately.
