Hello everyone, hope you’re all doing well. I wanted to ask for some opinions after a recent safety inspection at our workplace. While reviewing a few sensitive pieces of equipment, we discussed ways to improve protection and reduce the risk of electrical interference. During the conversation, one of the engineers suggested using an isolation transformer for that part of the system instead of making larger changes to the existing setup. I’ve read a little about why it’s used, but I’d really like to hear from people with practical experience. Has anyone installed one before, and what difference did it make in everyday operation?
